Hi all and welcome to my new website. This is part of my “fresh start” approach and I hope you will all join me on my journey over the next couple of years. Please feel free to drop an email or ask any questions in the applicable section of the website and I promise to respond within a day or two.  

I have had a lovely Xmas and New Years break, spending time with my family and friends in Port Elizabeth. I finished off 2008 in a disappointing fashion, but the positives taken out of this, outweigh the negatives and I am looking forward to the new year with a fresh approach. I have been striking the ball better than ever the past couple of months. Hitting the range just after new year, re-affirmed this, but my approach to the game has required a rethink. I have a naturally aggressive approach to the game and I have probably tried to avoid this in the past season, which has resulted in an over defensive approach. I am banking on my experience to revert to my natural game, but to avoid unnecessary risk when it is not required.

The new year starts with a big Sunshine and European Tour co-sanctioned event, the Joburg Open, to be played at Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club. Thereafter we have a busy 6 weeks moving backward and forward from inland to the coast and back. This culminates at the Telkom PGA starting on 19 February. The rest of my schedule will only settled on after this, but I will keep you posted.
